Step 1: Get to Know #MoveTogetherKC
We created the Move Together KC campaign to unite the community around promoting physical activity in Kansas City. This public awareness campaign is designed to be adaptable for anyone who wants to make it their own, including individuals or organizations who want to use their own brand colors or co-branding. We want to see as many people as possible taking steps toward healthy, vibrant lifestyles — and we need your help to share this message!
Learn more: our Campaign Talking Points will help you understand the core messages of the campaign.
Download brand materials: reviewing the Style Guide will help you understand how the campaign can come to life through organizations participation. To use the materials inside the Style Guide, like logos or images, you can also download Brand Elements.
Ask questions: if we can help, don’t hesitate to reach out. Feel free to contact the Kansas City Health Lifestyles Collaborative at kchlc@cmh.edu
Step 2: Spread the Word
Help us get the word out about Move Together KC by inviting others to join! Remember, this campaign is customizable for anyone who wants to participate, and that includes the ways you might help us share about the campaign. Below are some ideas:
Click here to download our Social Media Tips & Sample Messages. You can also download ready-to-use Social Media Graphics to share about the campaign - or customize your own posts by downloading our Adobe Templates or online Canva Templates.
Tip: when sharing anything related to physical activity, please use the hashtag #MoveTogetherKC and tag @MoveTogetherKC so we can re-share it. It doesn’t have to be “branded” to be part of the campaign.
Print Posters: ready-made and co-brandable posters are available for download to display and distribute in local businesses, parks, schools, or other places around the community.
Submit a press release: announce your organization’s involvement in the campaign and highlight the great community work you’re doing to support physical activity by sharing a press release and/or blog. Our Press Release Template will help you get started.
Garner earned media: In addition to press releases, our Earned Media Tips will help you understand how to share information with news outlets.
