This will be a special event as we will have Erik Willis, PhD, MPH as a guest speaker.
Erik Willis, PhD, MPH is a research scientist and lead data analyst for the Go NAPSACC project in the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention as well as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Erik holds a Doctorate degree in exercise physiology from the University of Kansas and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology and biostatistics from Yale University. Prior to joining UNC, he completed his postdoctoral training in the Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program at the National Cancer Institute. His research interests include both public health and clinical approaches to understanding the beneficial effects of physical activity, weight loss, and decreasing sedentary time on a variety of health outcomes in both children and adults.
